Recent conversations in our house:

Lauren: My diaper's dry!
Momma: YAY! Maybe tonight we'll sleep without a diaper?
Lauren: OK!!
(she woke up dry in panties!)

Lauren: Wanna see a magic trick?
Momma/Daddy: Sure!
Lauren: Hocus, pocus, ocus, croakus. TA DA! (then while bowing) Thank you, thank you, thank you
(a magic trick is putting several things in a pile, putting some sort of cover on them and then yanking the cover off to reveal the pile)

Lauren: My tummy hungry. I KNOW! I want yogurt.
(at least it's yogurt and not a Ding Dong)

Momma: Lauren, what are you doing?
Lauren: I dancing.
(with or without music)

Lauren: See how my hair so long? I brush it.
(thanks Dora. By the way, she brushes it all forward)
